The Good Things: Spring Vibes
What I'm cooking, eating, wearing, and loving in this season!
One thing about me is that I love to celebrate the little things. I may not be the girl that puts an entire party together with the most beautiful table scape (idk, maybe one day? I kind of want to be), but I do love making mini-celebrations for everyday moments. And right now that moment is leaving winter (BYE) and heading into my favorite season: SPRING!
And if you’ve been following along with the March Healthy Meal Plan, you already know I’ve been counting down the days to warmer weather. I’m craving sunshine, fresh produce, longer evenings, and the light, energizing reset that this season always brings.
With that shift, I’ve naturally refreshed a few of our daily routines, from what I’m cooking to what I’m wearing, and in the process, I’ve discovered (and rediscovered!) some favorites I think you’ll love, too!
Full disclosure, there are affiliate links sprinkled throughout this post, but I genuinely love and use all the items included. If you shop through the links, it helps support Jar of Lemons at no extra cost to you, which I’m always so grateful for! 🤍
My Favorite Spring Things
🍓 Things I’m Cooking and Baking
These are the recipes currently on repeat in my house.
Originally shared in the March Meal Plan, this protein-forward pasta dish is cheesy and filling with bright flavors. It’s been on my dinner rotation for weeks, and my entire family is still obsessed!
A higher-protein twist on the popular dessert, these little lemon treats are almost too pretty to eat and are so easy (and fun) to make!
Inspired by the infamous Palm Springs date shake, these oats are a sweet, creamy meal prep breakfast that tastes like dessert. And they make me want to go to Palm Springs on vacation, just sayin’.
Spring in edible form, these muffins are bright, sweet, and made with 5 grams of protein each.

🥨 Things I’m Eating
These are the grab-and-go staples currently living in my pantry or bag (mom life).
Plant-based and great for keeping on hand, these actually taste good and don’t taste like chalk. I like to keep them in my car for busy days!
I’ve noticed such a difference in energy when I stay consistent with these, especially on workout days.
I keep these on hand for a sweet option when I just want something small that still provides some healthy fats and fiber to keep me full!
Okay, I’m drinking these instead of eating them, but I seriously don’t know how I lived without them. I use at least one every. single. day. They make the BEST café-style lattes at home!

👗 Things I’m Wearing
Spring always makes me want to refresh everything! I’m embracing brighter colors and flowy dresses to help encourage warm weather after a brutal winter.
Another thing about me: I LOVE a good spring dress! Like so much. Like I will wear it every single day until fall basically. Easy and flattering, these are perfect for church, brunch, or a casual date night. I have multiple colors!
I got this shirt for a day of filmin and I’m obsessed with the pink color. Soft and so flattering I know I’ll be ordering more!
I’ve been wearing these non-stop lately. They’re perfect for a quick workout an dcan double as everyday shoes, giving my outfits a sporty vibe while running errands with my littles.
I love that this is big enough for my laptop, snacks, and mom-life essentials, but still looks and feels polished when I’m out and about.

🍋 Things for My Kitchen
I’ve been dreaming of a lighter, spring-inspired kitchen lately and have been switching up my decor accordingly. Think: soft textures, bright tones, and Anthropologie vibes. I’m obsessed!
These are super useful to have on hand and add such a pretty pop of color to my kitchen.
I can’t wait to use this for Easter, but I know I’ll be pulling it out all season long for salads and sides when hosting.
How cute are these?! AND they help keep my berries super fresh!
If you’re obsessed with charcuterie boards like me, this is perfect for spring! It’s great for hosting and is such an easy way to elevate any spread.

🌿 Things That Bring Me Joy
This one is less about shopping and more about the small glimmers I’m finding day to day this Spring!
Fresh flowers on the counter (thank you Trader Joe’s)
Afternoon walks through our neighborhood at peak sunny warmth.
Second walks in the evening because the sun stays out later.
Working out: some strength, pilates, and cardio.
Spring dresses! With lots of color and floral. I’m unashamedly obsessed and always have been.
Parks/outside play time with the kids on the weekends.
Slow Sunday dinner with music playing
Diving into family recipes and seeing you all love them as much as I do
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about building a life that feels calm and grounded, focusing on slowing down, focusing on nourishing food, movement, and building a home that feels intentional.
Not everything needs to be dramatic or life-changing. Sometimes it’s just a really good bowl of salmon and rice that can make my whole day, and maybe that’s the whole point. I’m hoping to continue to incorporate some of these glimmers beyond spring and will continue to share what I’m loving!
